Peel
Homes for sale in Mississauga
Mississauga is a city of three-quarters of a million people that behaves like several markets. Port Credit and Lorne Park along the lake trade very differently from Meadowvale or Malton, and the City Centre condo market runs on its own logic entirely.

Living in Mississauga
Mississauga, in a bit more detail
The homes
Established lakefront and near-lake housing in Port Credit, Lorne Park and Clarkson, extensive seventies and eighties subdivision across the middle, and very substantial condo supply around Square One and along Hurontario.
Condo quality and age vary enormously. Status certificate, reserve fund and any special assessment history are essential reading, and some older subdivision stock carries Kitec plumbing or aluminium wiring depending on vintage.
Who lives here
First-time buyers and investors in the condo market, families in the established subdivisions, and executive purchasers along the lake.
Schools and everyday life
Peel District School Board and Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board, plus the University of Toronto Mississauga and Sheridan's Hazel McCallion campus.
Port Credit and the waterfront trail, Square One, the Living Arts Centre, and Erindale Park on the Credit.
GO service on the Lakeshore West and Milton lines, the Hurontario LRT under construction, and Highways 401, 403, 407 and the QEW.
What is changing
Substantial — the LRT corridor, downtown Mississauga, Brightwater in Port Credit and Lakeview Village are all reshaping significant parts of the city.
